Slat holders for Ikea LINDBÅDEN

While I was working on the Triple Bunk Bed project, I bought some bed slats from Ikea. I didn’t want to take a risk that one of the kids would kick the bed above and the slats would move and possibly fall down, so I modelled and 3D printed holders which will keep them in place.

Check the whole Triple Bunk Bed build here!

I’m using 3.5mm screws to secure the slats to the bed.
There is one on each corner of the bed. For the 140cm wide double bed there are two sets of slats, so there is a total of 8 holders.
I could have printed the required 16 pieces in one go, but I decided to be on the safe side and do it in two batches.
A very simple model but works perfectly.

Triple Bunk Bed – Build

I made a design for a Triple Bunk Bed in January 2023. Since then my kids have been asking when the bed will be done as they really look forward to it. As the kids were growing out of their current smaller sized beds, I decided that it was time…

Xtool D1 Pro 20W enclosure – Part 1

I decided that a laser cutter is a perfect addition to my workshop. The problem with laser cutters is that it generates smoke so I can’t just place it next to my 3D printer in the house. At the same time, it is pretty sensitive for dust, so my workshop…
