80th year birthday belt

Date 3 months ago

I had already decided that I’m done with belts for a while, but when I was trying to decide what to give to my father-in-law for his birthday I changed my mind. You can’t go wrong with a belt as a gift. I chose to make a rather simple design…

Welcome to Silfer Works! (again)

I released the previous version of this website around 3 and a half years ago. At that time I was mostly posting my projects on Reddit, and I wasn’t really that disciplined on my documentation due to the format. I was posting large galleries without any deeper descriptions or a…

Card holder for Secret Santa

Date 10 months ago

My wife’s side of the family has a tradition of doing a Secret Santa among the grown-ups. With other words, everyone pulls a name from a hat, and then you need to get a present for that person. Each year it has been very easy to guess who has gotten…

Personalised Key Holder

Date 12 months ago

We were going to visit family abroad and the day before we were heading to the airport, I realised that I should have made something as a gift. Couple of weeks back I made a template for a simple key holder that I was planning to give out as a…

Silfer Works Cap

Date 1 year ago

As my son’s teddy got a fancy sombrero, I thought that now was my turn to get a hat! I got new maker’s marks laser engraved (I will post about these soon!), so I wanted to test the larger one on a small project. I don’t have a cap for…
