Outdoor bench with forged legs
This is a project which spans across 4 generations. The frame was forged by my grandfather who was a blacksmith in the 1950s. It’s made out of spring steel and I’m planning to keep it exactly as it is as even the paint is original. The boards are Siberian Larch which is naturally rot resistant….
Project with the kids – Man of Steel
My son wanted a metal man. I took that as a challenge and an excellent opportunity for practising some small scale TIG welding. The man has an interchangeable hat/helmet, and I even added a custom 3D printed magnetic sword. It was a perfect partner for a wooden dinosaur we made together some time later.
