Mahogany House Number Plaque

Date 2 years ago

I decided to test my skills with epoxy resin pouring. This project was originally meant to be something totally different, but I changed the design when I realised I could make an awesome house number plaque and it would also be a perfect excuse to experiment with epoxy resin pouring….

Hot Air Balloon Lamp

Date 3 years ago

Since I built the Triple Bunk Bed, I’ve felt that the ceiling lamp was not special enough next to it. Now was the time to get rid of that old IKEA lamp, and build something truly special. I think I made six different versions of the lamp, and ended up…

Leather Hair Barrette

Date 3 years ago

Yet another valentine’s day is here. I decided to make something special for my wife and only use scraps I had in the workshop. I had a nice piece of very thick leather I got when I ordered a custom apron for metalworking. It is somewhere around 3-4mm thick. For…

Triple Bunk Bed – Build

Date 3 years ago

I made a design for a Triple Bunk Bed in January 2023. Since then my kids have been asking when the bed will be done as they really look forward to it. As the kids were growing out of their current smaller sized beds, I decided that it was time…

“Mesla” – an electric trike with two seats – Part 1

Date 3 years ago

Date 3 years ago

The dual level sauna thermometer worked like a dream, so now was the time to make the slave module for my living room. The design was pretty straightforward as I was able to re-use a lot of the code, and the enclosure just needed a slightly different design so it…

Companion firewood holder

Date 4 years ago

I made a hanging firewood holder some time back for my sauna, and I’ve started the bad habit of taking the firewood inside in small batches and placing it on the floor. This had to be corrected as I could easily stumble over them while moving inside. You can find…

Project with the kids – Treehouse with a funky ladder

Date 4 years ago

My son asked if I could build a treehouse for him. I told him that I can as long as we use all leftovers from the garage. I mostly managed to do that but I bought some nicer looking boards for the siding after I realised how visible the treehouse…

Trike Trailer

Date 4 years ago

My kids were always arguing about who is allowed to ride the small trike on my backyard, so I decided to make a trailer with a seat for it. Time spent was three evenings, couple hours each + painting. The cost of materials is unknown as I only used whatever…
