Stitch flattening tool

I realised that I didn’t have a tool for flattening stitches when I have tooled or creased the leather tight next to them. Usually I just use my small polished hammer but I didn’t dare to do this with my skull belt.

I asked for advice in Reddit, and one of the comments linked me to this Nattools Thread Flattening / Tamping Tool. I thought this was a great idea, especially because I could make one myself!

I made it quite a bit smaller than the Nattools version. This way I can use it on smaller projects as well.
The handle is covered with leather for comfort.
I used baseball stitch for the handle.
The tool is made out of mild steel that is polished and treated with beeswax.
Not bad for a quick afternoon project. I’m very happy how it turned out.
