Skull Belt

I got some awesome brass stamps few months back, but I never had a chance to test them out. As I needed to have a new belt, I decided that now was as good time as any to try them. May I present to you: my first stamped leather project, a belt filled with skulls.

I’m very surprised how even I was able to get the pattern. It looks great even very close-up.
For the hardware I used antique brass as usual.
The pattern finishes right before my (single) belt hole.
The belt is hand-sewn around the whole circumference with 0.7mm thread. I also grooved around it with 2mm spacing from the edge for a nicer finish.
On the end of the belt I included my 18mm maker’s mark.
The stamps I used for the pattern…
… and all the other tools as well.

Metal Twister

Watch strap for Apple Watch Ultra

I love nice watches, but I’ve decided to use Apple Watch Ultra as my daily driver. It’s relatively cheap compared to my other watches, it has sapphire glass, and it’s useful get reminded about upcoming meetings at work. I’ve been thinking about trying to make a watch strap at some…
